About Learn Live sessions
Learn Live is a fun, interactive approach to engage pupils with the work of the UK Parliament. Each session lasts around 30 minutes and is streamed on YouTube.
It’s up to you how many pupils, classes or year groups join in. Make sure your pupils can hear the session, as they will be asked to discuss specific questions throughout. All you need is a whiteboard with a reliable internet connection.
Watch free online and join in by sharing your students’ work with us via Twitter @UKParlEducation.
Votes for Women (International Women’s Day)
This Learn Live session will celebrate International Women’s Day by telling the story of Votes for Women in the UK. We’ll be interviewing Mari Takayanagi, who is a Senior Archivist at Parliament and an expert in the history of women’s suffrage in the UK. You can submit your questions for Mari when you sign up – we’d love to hear from you!
