This 60 minute session has been created specifically for and is tailored to young people aged 12-24.

Designed for a minimum of 15 attendees. By the end of this session attendees will have an introductory knowledge of how UK Parliament works and feel confident to take action on issues that matter to them.

Attendees will have an opportunity to:

  • Identify and discuss issues which matter to them, both locally and nationally and think about how they might improve this.
  • Find out what happens in a General Election.
  • Learn about the role of MPs and Peers.
  • Find out how laws are made.

This session is interactive and activity based, focusing around three actions which attendees  can take during the session:

  • Register to vote
  • Contact an MP or Lord about an issue they are passionate about
  • Sign or start a petition.

This session can delivered either online or in-person.
