Take part in free online sessions for families learning at home and explore what is the UK Parliament and how you can get your voice heard. Our live sessions last approximately one hour and are delivered by staff via Microsoft Teams.

An Introduction to UK Parliament (Primary Level)

Open to Home Educated students studying at primary level, the session will cover:

  • An introduction to how UK Parliament works
  • What MPs do
  • Role of the House of Lords
  • How laws are made
  • Find out how you can get your voice heard

The session is designed to be broadcast live and students will have discussion opportunities in relation to the content.

An Introduction to UK Parliament (Secondary Level)

Open to Home Educated students studying at secondary level, the sessions provides:

  • An introduction to how the UK Parliament works with a focus on the role of the House of Lords, the House of Commons and the Government
  • Learn how laws are made
  • Find out how you can get your voice heard

The session is designed to be broadcast live and for students to discuss throughout.

When you sign up to an Eventbrite event we use the data to create a calendar session with booking details to keep track of your event, invite your local MP to a Q&A session (if applicable) and invite the presenters to host the digital event. We use parts of this data to record our engagement with your group and constituency, which is recorded on our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program. We are collecting this data under the lawful basis of legitimate interest. The data we collect will be deleted after 5 years.
